Welcome to the Utah Colleges Exit Poll
The Utah Colleges Exit Poll was started in 1982 by BYU Professor David Magleby and has become one of the most respected polls in state politics. This year we will
be studying the 2007 Salt Lake City mayoral race. Polling by the Utah Colleges Exit
Poll in 2003 predicted the winner within a half a percentage point and provided
useful insights into the campaign dynamics.
This year, volunteers from Brigham Young University and Westminster College will
participate in collecting, analyzing, and reporting the results of the mayoral race.
